Having parked their famous food truck, Munchies, chef Sho Miyashita and his partner in crime Jérémy Mégaly opened their own address in 2020: Haikara, on rue de la Folie-Méricourt, in the 11th arrondissement. This Japanese tapas bar serves inventive plates with the sharp, punchy flavours that have become the duo's signature, to share in a trendy, street-inspired atmosphere.

The kitchen is run by Sho Miyashita himself, with Jérémy Mégaly alongside him at the helm. Haikara takes no bookings and is open Tuesday to Saturday, lunch and dinner, except for Saturday lunch. You can drop in for a few plates or settle in for a full meal, depending on the hour and your appetite.
