Pastaio

Pastaio is a friendly and affordable Italian oasis dedicated to fresh pasta and high-quality produce, in the heart of Soho, London. It was founded by Stevie Parle, who is, according to GQ London, one of British most talented and creative chef-restaurateurs. Pastaio (“pas-tye-YO”) means pasta maker because that’s what they do here. The seating is communal, the decor bright and vaguely industrial (Parle has said he wanted a “canteeny feel”) and the food simple with only antipasti and pasta dishes, for a very affordable price. The second location was decorated by Tom Dixon's Design Research Studio, with the ambition to create a refined, original, and fun vibe.
