Ray's is a dive bar in the Lower East Side of New York City where you will order beer or bourbon rather than a Spritz. With its giant disco ball, a good old jukebox, oversize dogs-playing-pool poster, or large American flag pinned to the ceiling, this place was a hit from the get-go. It was launched in 2019 by actor Justin Theroux, with successful restaurateur friends Carlos Quirarte (The Smile, The Jane Ballroom), Taavo Somer (Freemans Sporting Club), and Jon Neidich (the Happiest Hour, Acme).
