Bistrot de Paris

The Teddy Jacket

€453.75

In Saint-Germain since 1965, in a space whose culinary roots date to 1848, Le Bistrot de Paris was once the haunt of writers and thinkers. Its teddy jacket is cut in crackled nylon, with striped ribbing, snap buttons, leather-trimmed angled pockets and a large embroidered chenille patch bearing the name.

Inside, the lining is printed with the restaurant's original menu: a high-quality piece of Parisian history to wear.

Le Bistrot de Paris is a cherished institution in the heart of Saint-Germain, long frequented by writers, artists, intellectuals, and politicians. Since opening in 1965, it has embodied the charm of traditional Parisian dining with its stained-glass windows, Thonet chairs, and unmistakable Art Nouveau details. Set in a location with a culinary history dating back to 1848, the restaurant offers timeless French classics crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients. The menu features Parisian staples such as pan-seared scallops, chicken supreme, and a decadent bourbon mille-feuille, alongside the bistrot’s famed Île-de-France leeks, said to be the best in Paris. Friendly waiters in waistcoats glide between tables, reinforcing the warm, spirited atmosphere cultivated by Maxime and Dominique Paul. A true jewel of the 7th arrondissement, Le Bistrot de Paris captures the soul of old Paris with elegance and ease.
