Beneath the arcades of the Place des Vosges, Café Hugo holds the whole city in a single view. This keychain takes its beloved Dachshund mascot in miniature, white with a stylised black outline, the Café Hugo logo stamped on the back.
Clipped to your keys or hanging from a bag, it goes anywhere with you: small, playful and quietly sentimental, a charming souvenir of a day well spent on the Place des Vosges.
Café Hugo
Tucked beneath the centuries-old arcades of the place des Vosges, Café Hugo has been one of the Marais's best-loved addresses since 1984. Named after Victor Hugo, who lived for sixteen years a few steps away, the café keeps something of the writer's Paris: steeped in history, unhurried, quietly grand.
Open every day from 7 am to 2 am, it welcomes guests at its own pace: the first espresso, weekend brunch, dinners that run late. Its kitchen celebrates the French classics, from onion soup and croques to duck confit and a well-cooked cut of beef, with a fine list of wines and cocktails.
