Just an hour from Paris, Le Beauharnais, Grand Hôtel de l'Aigle Noir, now known as the Aigle Noir Fontainebleau MGallery Hotel, is a monument of the French Neoclassical era. Established in 1764 on place Napoléon-Bonaparte, it faces the Château de Fontainebleau, former residence of kings and emperors, and invites its guests to discover the splendour of a bygone age. Today run by Richard Duvauchelle and Michele Scott, this luxury hotel combines the character of a historic monument with the comfort of a modern hotel. Its restaurant welcomes diners from Tuesday to Saturday, in the evening.
