Inside the Gare de Lyon, Le Train Bleu has served beneath frescoes and chandeliers since its station buffet opened in 1901, a tribute to the 1868 line that carried travelers to the French Riviera. This vintage milky glass ashtray, selected by GIFTSHOP, bears the Le Train Bleu inscription and a finely drawn blue train.
A beautiful collector's piece, it carries the French art of living of a bygone era.

Le Train Bleu is a dazzling dining institution set on the first floor of the Gare de Lyon concourse, captivating visitors with its opulent decor and rich history. This legendary restaurant carries guests back to the Belle Époque: detailed frescoes and elegant chandeliers create a magical atmosphere. It pays tribute to the 1868 Paris-Vintimille line, which served the towns of the French Riviera, and honours the station's historic buffet, inaugurated in 1901. Run since 2019 by SSP Group with Maison Rostang, it serves its great classics: roast leg of lamb from the carving trolley, Bresse chicken with tarragon cream and rum baba.
