Delisle, bronze lighting makers on the rue du Parc-Royal since 1895
Paris institution

The story
Delisle, bronze and ironwork makers on the rue du Parc-Royal, was founded in 1895 in the Marais, at the Hôtel de Lamoignon, now home to the Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris. The workshop made chandeliers and decorative bronzes.
The house supplied high society and the great courts of Europe. It embraced Art Deco and won international recognition at the Rio International Exhibition in 1922. In the second half of the 20th century, under Pierre-Jacques Delisle, it took part in the restoration of the Château de Versailles, its Royal Opera and the Hall of Mirrors.
In 1935 Delisle settled for good at the Hôtel de Canillac, 4 rue du Parc-Royal, whose staircase and vestibule have been listed since 1962. A member of the Comité Colbert since 1987, the house has been led since 2016 by Jean Delisle, the fifth generation, alongside his father Jean-Michel.
In the heart of the Marais, in the 3rd arrondissement, the headquarters and showroom present a catalogue of more than 1,500 designs, bespoke pieces from first sketch to finished work, and collections drawn with designers, such as Edgar Jayet’s Bouillotte, inspired by the lamp of 18th-century card games.
