Don Angie
Don Angie is a small, unique restaurant in the West Village in New York where the dining room brings back the high-glitz Italian restaurant décor of the 1970s and ’80s. Due to their talented take on modern Italian-American cuisine, chefs Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli have garnered tremendous critical acclaim, receiving a glowing, 2-star critic’s pick review from the New York Times in 2018. The newspaper proclaimed: "Red-Sauce Italian Cooking Finds a Future at Don Angie. They were also named one of Esquire’s Best New Restaurants in America in 2018 and nominated by the James Beard Foundation in 2019, 2020, and 2022. In May 2021, Don Angie was awarded a Michelin star.
