The signature large plate of Brasserie LIPP, sold for the first time in its original version. Measuring 26.5cm, it carries the brasserie's timeless logo on porcelain, and has long been traded under the table among epicurean enthusiasts, when it was not simply slipped into a coat pocket.
Now you may take one home with a clear conscience. Finely made, it brings the dining room to your own table.
Lipp
In the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Brasserie Lipp welcomes its guests every day, from 9 am to 2 am, in a unique setting that preserves the charm and French aesthetic of the early twentieth century. Founded in 1880 by Léonard Lipp at 151 boulevard Saint-Germain, it has become a temple of Parisian gastronomy. It serves traditional, bourgeois brasserie cooking in which the quality of the produce is paramount, today overseen by chef Pascal Jounault. Among its celebrated specialities are Bismarck herring, brandade de morue, choucroute garnie, roast chicken, blanquette de veau and tête de veau.
