The French Umbrella

€180

Rain or shine, stroll through Paris with the memory of a meal at SAVY. This long umbrella was custom-made for GIFTSHOP by Maison Piganiol, the French family business founded in 1884 that specializes in exquisite umbrellas. It carries a century-old savoir-faire, a living heritage much like the trusted legacy of SAVY itself. Luxurious and designed to last, it is an elegant souvenir for every forecast Paris can offer.

SAVY

It is hard to find a more authentic bistro than the culinary institution SAVY, on rue Bayard in the 8th arrondissement. This much-loved bistro serves quality French cooking, both generous and refined, to a loyal local clientele who return for dishes that never go out of fashion. Grenouilles persillées, œuf mayo and a giant millefeuille are among the local delights served since it opened in 1923, alongside the côte de veau and côte de bœuf, the house's signature dishes. The tiny bistro sports a classic Art Deco setting, with its metal bar and a beautiful mosaic floor, acting as a time capsule of the 1920s.
