At 23 rue Bayard, in the 8th arrondissement, SAVY has served classic French cuisine in an Art Deco setting since 1923. This high-quality T-shirt carries a vintage illustration by Jacques Dropy, the cartoonist whose whimsical characters of the 1950s to 1970s clearly inspired the SAVY mascot: beret, twirling moustache and a glass of wine in hand.
A finely made keepsake of old Paris, worn with a smile.
SAVY
It is hard to find a more authentic bistro than the culinary institution SAVY, on rue Bayard in the 8th arrondissement. This much-loved bistro serves quality French cooking, both generous and refined, to a loyal local clientele who return for dishes that never go out of fashion. Grenouilles persillées, œuf mayo and a giant millefeuille are among the local delights served since it opened in 1923, alongside the côte de veau and côte de bœuf, the house's signature dishes. The tiny bistro sports a classic Art Deco setting, with its metal bar and a beautiful mosaic floor, acting as a time capsule of the 1920s.
