On the corner of Rue Saint-Georges, the blue façade of Le Bon Georges has become a landmark of the 9th arrondissement. This finely made cap, in cream with a navy brim, carries the bistrot's typography embroidered across the front over a cursive "Paris," all in deep navy.
Above the keyhole at the back, "Large Soif": the house's phrase for a wine so drinkable you always want another glass. Consider it a statement of intent.
Le Bon Georges
Le Bon Georges is an emblematic address tucked away on rue Saint-Georges, in the 9th arrondissement. Since opening in 2014, the bistro has celebrated the great principles of modern French cuisine inherited from Auguste Escoffier: refined, unpretentious cooking, made in-house. The team works with French livestock farmers, coastal fishermen practising sustainable fishing, winemakers and artisans, and builds every dish from exceptional, locally sourced produce.
The menu changes daily with the seasons and the inspiration of chef Loïc Lobet. The carefully assembled cellar promises fine discoveries on every visit. Authentic, lively and warm, Le Bon Georges is a place for sharing, for lovers of good food and good wine.
