The Oval Plate

€45

Since 1864, Bofinger has served exceptional seafood and French classics in the Bastille neighbourhood. Its oval plate, generous and versatile, is made for a filet de poisson du jour or a delicately plated salmon gravlax, its elongated form ideal for sharing.

Crisp white porcelain with a bold red rim, the iconic Bofinger typography at the top and “Bastille, Paris” opposite: a tribute to place and provenance.

Bofinger

Set between place de la Bastille and place des Vosges, the emblematic brasserie Bofinger has come through the ages since 1864 while preserving its soul in an exceptional historic setting. In this institution, known as one of the most beautiful brasseries in Paris, the chef prepares the Alsatian specialities that made its name: the Kougloff served as French toast, the Grand Marnier soufflé and the "best choucroute in Paris", cooked the traditional way.

At Bofinger you will also find an impressive seafood counter and the great classics of the French brasserie: dishes in the image of the place, simple, convivial and warm. Open every day, for lunch and dinner.
